This interactive, case-focused presentation addresses “the ghosts in the room” and secrets in the family that can undermine family harmony and the legal, financial, ownership and business considerations of estate planning. The presenters, Patricia M. Annino, Esq., a Boston attorney, and Gerard J. She is a nationally-recognized expert and author on estate planning, particularly the estate planning needs of family businesses. Patricia speaks regularly on many issues of concern to families and their closely-held businesses.\n \nPatricia was awarded “Best in Wealth Management” by Euromoney Legal media and has been recognized as a "Best Lawyer in America." She is a Fellow of American College of Trust and Estate Counsel. \n \nHer new book, It’s More Than Money: Protect Your Legacy is in final production and will be published shortly.\n \nGerard J. Donnellan, PhD, president of BIG LEAP, Boston - an organizational and individual development firm - is an organizational psychologist, psychoanalyst and family business consultant. He has been an adjunct professor at Brandeis University, International School of Business. He developed and taught the course The Family Enterprise in the MBA program.
